Trevor bought part of the old Tomoana freezing works site near Hastings and 
originally ran a transport company from the property with the intention of moving into warehousing and logistics. By 1996 Trevor saw the opportunity when Heinz Watties needed more space to store products.
As Heinz Watties grew and needed more storage space, Tomoana Warehousing expanded its storage facilities.
Tomoana Warehousing now has around 8000 sqm2 of warehouse and factory space and a modern fleet of 28 trucks.
In 2006 Trevor’s son, Stewart took over the daily management of Tomoana Warehousing, which has given Trevor more time to focus on another property development, the Tomoana Food Hub.
