It’s been an interesting and exciting journey from starting out as a small container transport company to the leading warehousing and transport specialists we are today.

Tomoana have been providing quality, innovative and reliable warehousing and transport services for over 20 years and we aren’t slowing down.

Tomoana started in the 1990’s when the original owner, Trevor Taylor bought part of the old Tomoana freezing works site near Hastings. He originally ran a transport company from the property with the intention of moving into warehousing and logistics.

In 1996, Tomoana seized the opportunity to expand when Heinz Watties needed more space to store products. As Heinz Watties grew over the years and needed more storage space, Tomoana increased storage facilities too. Later we established a warehouse hub in Tauranga to increase our service offering to and from the Tauranga Port.

Today, Tomoana have a large fleet of modern trucks which have a wide range of capability and over 20,000m2 of warehouse and factory space.


In 2019, brothers, Craig and Trevor Booth added Tomoana Warehousing Ltd to their business portfolio as part of the newly established Booth’s Group to increase their service offering, resources and capability.

With established services already based in Hastings and Tauranga and as a new member of the wider Booth’s Group, we now have access to a broader network of services across a much wider geographical region.
